How to measure your body

Measure your own body with a soft tape measure, then compare your measurements to the chart. Choose a size that matches your measurements as closely as possible.

Chest (A) – Circumference around the widest part of your chest.

Waist (B) – Circumference around the narrowest part of your waist.

Hips (C) – Circumference around the widest part of your hips.

Armhole Depth (D) – From the top of your shoulder to under your armpit, plus 1 or 2 inches for breathing room. This will be the height of the armhole, which should be large enough to comfortably fit around your arm without pinching your armpit.

Arm Length (E) – From the tip of your shoulder to your wrist.

measure your body, not the garment

It does not matter if the clothing item is fitted or oversized—always choose the size that corresponds to the measurements of your actual body, not the measurements of the finished item. I will adjust the measurements myself to achieve the intended fit.

what to do if you are between sizes

If your chest and waist measurements fall under different sizes: Go for the chest measurement as it is usually the most important for tops and sweaters.

If you are between sizes: The size you choose is completely up to you! However, if you are ordering a sweater or cardigan, I recommend rounding up for a slightly looser and cozier fit. If you are ordering a fitted crop top or a blouse, round down to ensure a snug fit.
